We never see ourself in our affective states. It could be a revelation about the way you see yourself if you did. Afterwards, you won’t feel the need to hide these feelings, because you saw the power and the beauty in them.
Before the shoot, we will have a coaching session on how to get into your feelings. During the shooting, you will have our full support to go into the feelings. If we have a group shooting, you will have the support of the whole group, which is really helpful.
Our Therapeutic photography portrait session involves taking, analyzing and using your portraits for the purpose of personal healing, growth, or understanding, whether done consciously or unconsciously.
By actively constructing, exploring and reflecting on photographs by pairing it with Julia’s coaching, you are able to learn more about yourself and how you see the world.
And, by looking at these images of yourself being angry, happy, fearful or sad – pictures of sheer perfect humanity – you already made the biggest step into accepting these feelings as normal.
